Researchers to Study Bok Choy in CEA Environments

This two-year research project will focus on optimizing bok choy production in hydroponic systems and developing practical protocols for small- and medium-sized farmers.

  • IALR is hiring for a variety of open positions, including ATDM Metrology Instructor, ATDM Educational Compliance Coordinator and Vice President, ATDM. Work at a mission-oriented organization with excellent benefits.

News

  • IALR and Virginia Tech announced the second annual industrial fermentation workshop, a five-day training experience for the rapidly growing biotechnology and industrial fermentation sectors on Jan. 12-16.

  • Danville Community College held a ribbon-cutting event to celebrate the launch of its new Diesel Technology Training Program, which is housed in a facility owned by the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research Foundation and outfitted with specialized equipment for hands-on training.


  • IALR leaders Telly Tucker and Jason Wells spoke at the Ready for Action event, which was organized by FasTech and Meltio, hosted at the IALR Conference Center, and showcased the growing impact of additive manufacturing across industries.

  • The IALR and ATDM logos were proudly displayed on Brad Keselowski's Build Submarines car during the race at Martinsville Speedway in October.
